My first post and picture of the day

Nowadays it seems to be normal that just about everybody has blog to share his life with the rest of the world. Although many people don’t really achieve more than the first blog. Maybe this will happen to me too. Actually I think it´s the most likely. Actually while I am writing this I don´t even know what my blog will be all about.

So far I am having the idea of just posting one picture per day that I took and write a few words about it. Probably that´s the worst thing to do. Starting a blog without having given a deeper thought about it. But sometimes I like just wandering around and see where my feet will carry me.

Anyway, here is my first picture. As you will soon realize I am huge fan of sunsets and sunrises. This one is from last Sunday, 20th of July 2008. I met with some people I know from Flickr to take pictures of the Barcelona Sprint Triathlon. We met earlier to be a witness of another beautiful sunrise which for me is always a very special moment. Clicking on the picture will always take you to my Flickr account where you can find more photos. I met the first person half the way to the beach at 5.40 am. Probably this is why I prefer sunrise pictures over sunset pictures. It´s simply a bigger sacrifice to get up. But being part of this spectacle is rewarding enough. But not all sunrises are that exciting. But I will get to this at some later point again.
